A Spectacular Three-Day Tanzania Safari Tour Package!

Northern Tanzania is blessed with some of East Africa’s most famous national parks. On this adventurous safari experience, you will visit three of these parks over three jam-packed days. Soak up the jaw-dropping landscapes and marvel at awe-inspiring wildlife on this one-of-a-kind excursion.

Day one of your Tanzania safari includes a trip to Tarangire National Park. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, a valuable source of freshwater that attracts a diverse range of wildlife in huge numbers, especially during the dry season.

Next up is Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Due to its enclosed nature, this remarkable place has effectively formed its own ecosystem with some of Africa’s highest density of large mammal populations.

And then there’s Lake Manyara National Park! The unique tree-climbing lions are the stars of the show, but there are many more animal encounters waiting for you here. Vast elephant herds, hundreds of bird species, cheetah, buffalo, Masai giraffe, and impala are just a handful of the creatures you can observe here.

Taste of Wildlife Itinerary

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Mto wa Mbu

In the early morning you will meet your guide and pile into your very own 4×4 safari vehicle for the start of your adventure in Tarangire National Park. You will arrive mid-morning in Tarangire, known for its bulbous baobab trees and savannah woodland habitat heavily populated with herds of elephants and a variety of migratory zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, impala, buffalo and more. The park’s annual perennial river serves as a water source for these migrating herds during the dry season, making the game viewing spectacular. As the sun starts to dip in the sky, you will exit the park for the short drive to lodge or tented camp for the evening, located above the Manyara Escarpment.

Transfer Time: 2-4 hours to park; 1 hour to overnight
Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Wake and depart before sunrise for the short drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending 900 meters onto the crater floor for a day’s game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, a small haven of 300 km², is bestowed with wildlife, an estimated 35,000 in number, comprising zebra, buffalo, lions, old bull elephants and so much more. It is also one of the best places to spot the rare black rhino. In the late afternoon you’ll ascend up to the crater rim and onto the Manyara Escarpment for the night in the same lodge/tented camp.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport

The final stop on this whirlwind adventure is Lake Manyara National Park, set beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, a jewel known for its primates, hippos and infamous tree-climbing lions. With its varied ecosystems, you will see forest creatures, large baboon troops in addition to other animals like giraffe and elephant.
